Notes:
The 2000 Census (the most recent government information available) shows that about 27% of the housing in our area is renter occupied.
There are 4, 747 rental units in the “Shawnee City” Census area - which is roughly the same area that our churches considers its area of ministry.
This number does not tell everything - it includes, for example, rental houses. Still, this is 26% of the housing in Shawnee.
Further, Multi-Housing is not limited to apartment complexes.
