Notes:
Here would probably be a good place to explain a few of the terms used in the multi-housing ministry world.
I am going to use the definitions found in “Fishing on the Other Side of the Boat” - A publication of the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board. I am using their material because the Southern Baptist church has made this type of ministry a focus for their equivalent of the USA and Canada region.
Condominium - A residential housing arrangement where a person has individual ownership of a unit and is a tenant in common ownership of common areas.
Community Association - a generic term used to describe residential developments in which each owner is bound to a real-estate organization by a set of governing documents that require adherence to a set of rules and payment of assessed fees.
Manufactured Housing Community - A residential community with five or more manufactured homes grouped together in a designated area. The land on which the homes sit can be rented or in some cases owned.
